Question about 2003 Ford Escape
2003 ford escape had a bad blowout at 80 miles per. now abs light stays on is there a reset or is sensor bad?
2003 ford escape xlt; abs trouble light and brake noise; found speed sensor ring broken and out of place...
cleaned (wire brush) mounting area, epoxied ring back in place, then when epoxy set superglued also (still split so...?); when set, lightly sanded raised bars on ring.
ended up having to do both front rings, same process.
no more abs light and braking issues resolved.
seems better/easier/cheaper than total tear down and pressing new rings in (way expensive and beyond me anyway so win/win!

Possibly have a bad speed sensor or something else. You will need to have it hooked to a computer to find out what is going on with it.
