take the belt of check all the pulleys for any noise. could be the a/c compressor or power steering pump.

Was running then lost power and now runs rough wity knocking sound ( does not sound like connecting rod) and has no oil pressre?


Your cam bearings are where you oil pressure comes from so you may have spun a cam bearing.

I have a 2004 ford f-350 superduty diesel- it feels like i lost power and every time i accelerate i hear air coming from the dash, anyone know what it could be?


sounds like u have a whole in a turbo boot the sound u r hear is the turbo trying to **** air through the whole in the boot

If cooling fans are running then the PCM is not powering up. Check or replace the PCM relay in the under hood fuse panel

My 1999 dodge Intrepid makes a loud whining noise (like a power steering pump) any time it is running... Any ideas on what it could be?


if the winning noise gets louder when you turn the steering wheel, it is the power steering pump.
99 to 04 intrepids have a serpintine belt with a self tightner.what i did with mine is **** the old power steering fluid out with a shop vac.replaced half with new fluid and top up with a transmission/power steering fluid additive.the noise went away after a couple of days.
