The selecter rods are not in the right position you may have turned gearbox drive shaft when locating new clutch sorry your going to have to take selecter mechanism off and by a bit of trial and error reposition until you can select all gears

New clutch was installed 2003 mitsubishi eclipse v6 it will go into all gears but is always in reverse too even when shifter is in neutral

sounds like your shifter linkage in the trans is out of its gates and in reverse, if you pull off the shifter cover make sure all shift rod in the trans are in the neutral position then reinstal shift cover

2007 Mitsubishi eclipse spider just put in clutch kit now it will not engage I can put it in gear without car on and I can push the car back and forth

Sounds possible you have the friction plate in backwards and there is no clearance. Retrace your steps and check the clutch operating mechanism, then any gear linkage. With the clutch centre plate, the raised part of the spring carrier is usually facing outwards toward the pressure plate fingers.

I replaced the new flywheel and new clutch kits. It doesn't work. Why? If car is off I can shift in to a gear but it starts I cannot engage into gear. What is wrong?

I don't suppose to know Mitsubishi cars at all but it sounds like a safety interlock related to the clutch pedal mechanism hasn't been reconnected correctly or may have been adjusted out of tolerance during the remove and replace process.

Won't go into reverse

sounds like the clutch is "dragging", could be adjustment if cable clutch, or leaking slave cylinder on hydraulic clutch, or the clutch it's self, normally first gear would be a little tight to engage too

After new clutch installed, shifter will not engage 2nd, 4th, or reverse. It will engage 1st, 3rd, and 5th gears fine though. how can I adjust this?

Your shifter cables have gona bad, i had the same problem and its not your clutch thats causing the problem. Your shifter cables are just worn out and you need to replace them
