Which of 3 engines is it????????
i tried to jump it
jumper cables to a running car?
slow turn over is usually , 3 things.
1: bad battery or its only discharged.
2: spark timing way off, causes engine to try to start backwards.
3: engine seizures. (internal issues) (turn it by hand, ok its good)
4: weak starter. (its bad)

SOURCE: my daughter car battery went dead had a jump start but her cousin put the leads on the wrong terminal could this have blown the main fuse as no lights at all put new battery on today

Yes this will defiantly blow the main engine fuse. This fuse is located in the engine compartment and is usually bolted down with 10mm bolts.

Ok might be my wires but I turn the engine from the outside it doesn't turn is it locked?when I try to start it,it clicks and sometimes when I try to start in it turns real slow and clicks

Hi Nelly:
I'd bet a bag of popcorn against a weekend at Pizmo Beach that the battery needs replacing or the terminals or connections are corroded.
First step - dis-connect NEGATIVE battery terminal.
Second step - disconnect Positive battery terminal.
Third step - Put battery on charger for at least 3 hours, preferrably overnight..
Fourth - CLEAN all connectors and terminals
Fifth - Re-install battery Connect POSITIVE terminal first and Negative last.

Try to start. If No go, try using jumper cables.
If it starts, Go buy a new battery, and a bag of popcorn.

Battery went dead. Tried jump start. Now it will not turn over. Started fine before battery went dead.

Check battery cables, make sure they are clean and tight on the terminals, may need new battery or charge old one 24 hours @ 2 amps.

Lost power steering, car died, changed battery, and barley made it home. The battery has power, but when you turn the key on the dome light and other lights, radio, windows, etc don't work.

Sounds like the vehicle is not charging you may need a new alternator get the car going with jump leads again and test the voltage at the battery terminals with a DC volt meter expect 13.5-14.5 if you get less than 13.5 your alternator is bad or wiring fault also check the alternator belt is tight.

2000 ford tarsus won turn over when trying to

You've either a dead battery or dirty terminals. Clean the terminals at battery and charge it up if needed. First try jumping the battery from another vehicle. If you get power from the jump, then it's what I told you.

Starting

Charge your battery, clean your terminals and see what happens. If you don't have a charger, clean the terminals and try jumping it again. Make sure you have quality jumper cables.

99 3.8 camaro wont fire.

Clean your battery terminals. When you jump start it you are connecting straight to the terminals. You are losing voltage between your battery post and the battery terminals. When you take the terminals off, you can clean everything with battery terminal cleaner. It is a spray that most all auto supply stores have. Before you put the terminals back on, put some dielectric grease on them, also available at parts stores.

Turn key, no start, dash dead, but intermittent symptons

First I would look for voltage drop of both end of battery terminal.not a look or seem tight . you have to do it (voltage drop) and terminal at alternator.
now does alternator charging. take voltage of battery
if the problem occur have voltage of battery taken
like I read your problem it looks like wiring terminal ground and positive
the noise you hear is probably low voltage to a relay and the dropping voltage make the relay switch inside relay cycling noise click or buzz

Why wont my Lincoln ls start? There is just a click when I turn the key.

The click usually indicates a low battery or corrosion at the battery terminals. Try removing the cables (Negative first) and cleaning the battery terminals and cable connections. Reconnect the cables (Negative last), check and replenish the water in the battery cells if yours is a serviceable battery, and then try a "jump" start. If this fails, chances are that you need a new battery.

Truck sometimes starts and sometimes wont. i hear a clicking soun

Unbolt and clean your battery terminals if dirty or corroded, preferably replace the bolts (good auto parts stores stock them, and they take some effort to remove and replace them but it's necessary to properly clean the terminals anyway) charge, jump or replace battery ... connect battery terminals and don't over tighten ... start the truck, check charging system gauges confirm charging voltage over 12V 13.8V-14.5V and lights should be bright as normal ... if so, you may be fixed ... if not you have charging system issues, that will be the next post if needed.
