Try JB Weld for aluminum, it may work depending how clean you can get the joint. Try acetone to clean the area. Be carful with the acetone, safety first read the instructions.

Oil pan removel on 1998 jimmy wont come off motor. do i need to losen trans to get oil pan off

check that the bottom half of the timing chain cover isn't too tight, or the seals and gaskets are good and stuck, make sure you have a couple oilpan bolts threaded loosely enough to allow the oilpan to move but threaded enough to hold the oilpan up, hit the bottom of the oilpan to knock it loose

White smoke coming out of tailpipe when starting what could it be?

The white smoke is most likely burning antifreeze due to a blown head gasket. The oxygen sensor code is most likely an oxygen sensor that has been destroyed by the anyifreeze. Replacing the oxygen sensor will not do any good until the problem with the engine is fixed. The trans code is anybody's guess because there are probably 50 different transmission codes possible and you did not mention which one you are getting.

My oil pan for the 2000 Saturn LS series with V6 engine has been cracked and I need to find that part, so who do I contact on the internet that might have it.

Do yourself a favor and save yourself some money. JB Weld which can be purchased at any auto parts tore or Walmart, will fix your oilpan for life. All you have to do is follow the directions on the package. I swear by this stuff and have fixed everything from oilpans to gas tanks to radiators. Just make sure the area is CLEAN before you apply it. Drain the oil if you have to, but I garuantee it will save you big buck and big headaches. If that isn't something you want to do then go to a local junkyard and buy a used oilpan. Hope this helps

How do I locate & change the oil filter on my 1997 Saturn SL2?

raise the front of the car. drain oil. filter is on the passenger side of the car on the back of the engine. you may need an oil filter wrench to remove the filter. use some of the new oil to lube the gasket on the top of the new filter.

I have a 1997 Saturn SC2, it has an oil leak and is smoking bad

The smoke sounds like its burning off any oil accumulating in the exhaust, and only goes down to the point where the crankshaft stops splashing in the oilpan.

I had someone fix my car and they left metal in the oilpan

Wrong answer!!!!!!!If they broke they fix it.Thats just a number one shop rule even though no one wants to admit there mistakes they must always make customers happy and want to come back for service. If you are one-Hundred % it was there fault they must fix for free. Its just time to mention court even though that might not be what you want to do they usually get right on top of it and fix it.Sounds like its time to find another repair shop...GOOD LUCK and keep us up to date....

Oilpan has hole in it

most often, the oil pan is a seperate piece. but in any event you will need certain tools and a way to access it (i.e., a lift or jack and jack stands to achieve a height to work). you would be wise to take it to a mechanic.
