Question about 2002 Chevrolet Impala
Dealership had problems programming the new BCM, but did eventually get it programmed. Unfortunately, it now seems I have lost the ability to reset my Tire Inflation Monitoring system (cant reset with light switch OR through stereo menu) and my Air Bag light is now steady on. Dealership wants to charge $120/hr to find out why.. Help??
Back to the dealer, it is part of the replacement to reset the TPMS.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

is this van new for you ? is it a status light letting you know that the airbag is loaded and ready for anypassenger that you have in your van ? do you have a key that you can turn it off in most vans there is an option to turn air bag on or off depending on size or opinion of passenger . im thinking that if its a status light its okay to be on letting you know its ready for opperation . take a look at your owners manual airbag section . and if it does turn out to be a warning malfunction indicator please dont waste time take it to your local dealer and have it checked out .hope this information helps good luck

Don't know that much about these but depending on where you bought ur tires they might service them for free, I know places like big o and discount both service tires for free. My guess would be that the batteries just need changed since they're supposed to last ten years and the car is 11 yrs old.

Most likely have a pressure sensor bad. Have you had the tires replaced recently? The sensors are easy to damage when mounting and dismounting tires.

SOURCE: Tire monitor reset 1999 Corvette
You can do this if you have a strong magnet. Go through the options menu until the screen is clear with the key on engine off. Then hold the reset button until it says key fob learn. I think it was the e/m button I hit to go to the next screen. Then it has the tire relearn procedure. It will tell you which tire to put the magnet on. Place magnet by the valve. it should beep. go to each tire in the order it tells you and you're done.
