When I went out this morning, my truck stop pulling. so I tried to put it in reverse, it still wouldn't move what could the problem be.
Simple either you have no fluid in the transmission or it has failed and needs to be rebuilt.

Do you have your foot on the brake when you try to move the gearshift? Other than that you will have to look under the hood and see if the linkage is hung up or broken somewhere.Mostly the the linkage is snapped out. ------------ Try readjusting shifter. Once the shift cable is properly adjusted, the indicator in the instrument cluster can be adjusted separately. Use a 9/64" allen wrench to turn the adjusting screw. That screw is in a white plastic housing and tube on top of the steering column. You'll need to remove the "knee blocker" panel under the column, then look just to the right of the fuse box for that screw. Shift to neutral, then adjust the screw until the pointer is in the middle of the "N" ---------- This has to be inspected. This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
