Check the schematic diagram as there is more than one ground in that circuit.the dropping resistors are parallel to ground not series.the only one grounded is the highest setting,which has no resistor.

Heater only works on high setting,is blower motor going and need replaced

Your problem, is the heater motor resister that burnt.It is a cercuit board that is mounted in the heater housing, under the dash,behind the glove compartment.It has a 5 or 6 wire plug in an bolted with 2 screw.

Heater fan only works on speed 5 no problems with the lights

replace the Blower Module assy. (electronic resistor) make sure the harness connectors are good.

Blower switch for a/c and heater on dash only works on speed 4----blower fan does nothing on setting 1, 2, or 3---Would this be a fuse?

you have a faulty blower motor resistor. This unit is usually located near the blower motor under the passenger side dash. It controls the fan speed for a/c-heater etc. They cost around $25-$80 depending on your model.

You need a blower motor resistor, it's located in the blower housing under the dash

AC Blower switch only runs on the high speed,

Heater blower motor resister is bad, common problem. resister controls blower motor speeds. replace resister.

Sounds like the blower motor resister to me this piece controls the speeds of the blower motor it should be close to the blower motor on the passenger side it should have wires going to the blower motor very easy to replace.
