Go to the rear of the vehicle and look just above the rear end, there is a load sensing porpotioning valve up there, there is a rod that connects the rod to the top of the rear end, if you have raised or lowered the vehicle than that rod needs to be adjusted,

the valve simply diverts fluid to and from the rear brakes depending on rear vehicle ride height, this is for proper stopping ability when the vehicle is loaded down or when it nose dives from a hard stop.

let me know if this helps

Installed new caliber and rotor caliber still locking up, is master cylinder bad?

when you are done with a brake job it is always important to make sure you can slide the caliper both inward and outward by hand to ensure that there is no sticking, (that is with the pads in place and caliper piston completely depressed into the caliper) it is not rare to find that a piston that is very hard to depress back in the caliper is due to deterioration of the inner lining of the brake hose, if you have problems pushing the piston back into place most likely this is your problem. I have strong hands and is most vehicles I can push the piston back into the caliper by hand.

No brake fluid out of master cylinder to one front brake caliper

one of the pistons in the brake master cylinder is poss stuck at the bottom of its stroke or the return spring has broken, dont take any chances with brakes change that master cylinder

Do you have to bleed master cylinder on 106 if master cylinder resorvior is empty

You don't have to bleed the master cylinder, you are going to have to prime it and bleed your entire brake system again. When you are bleeding your breaks you never let the reservoir run dry or the master cylinder starts to push air through the entire system. Not just on the line running to your front caliper. This is probably the reason you aren't getting pressure even when you pump the breaks.

1993 toyota corrolla brake problem My right side front caliber locks up on me. I have change it about 6 times already, replace the rubber hose, new master cylinder but still the same problem. The only way to...

change caliper and piston. And rotor wouldn't be bad two. The piston's do stick. If not bleeded correctly will also cause this problem. Or air leak in the system

Can't get front brakes to work

fill master cylinder, slowly close of brake lines to be sure you have pressure from master cylinder, pump brakes to check master, check that calipers were seated in housing properly

1994 Toyota pickup front brakes don't release

Well I don't think you'll need to buy parts,it sounds like there may be sludge built up between the master cylinder and the proportional valve to the front brakes.Pull the valve off(follow the line off the master cylinder and you'll find the valve)clean it and then flush/bleed the master cylinder before you reinstall,Then flush/bleed the rest of the system. There's a relly good chance that may be all you need to do,but you may need to pull the calipers and clean them also.Comment back if you need more help,Good Luck(To)Yotaguy
