Question about 2000 Dodge Stratus
Replaced with used selenoid and ran okay for 2 weeks
took it to a tranny specialist who replaced new selenoid and ran okay for 2 weeks
now still stuck in 2nd and he wants to replace pcm (sending too much voltage??) to the tune of $500
The problem is either the input or output speed sensor for sure. If the speedometer works, then its the input speed sensor. The input speed sensor needs to be removed to replace the solenoid pack so that's probably why it worked for a few days, it was jarred and started working again. Try it first, its very cheap and easy to replace.
