2003 silverado no lights on 3wd selector all fuses good checked all grounds and put new 4wd switch in

I assume 2WD and 4WD selection work just no indicators are lit?

Check power from TREC fuse, 30A engine compartment fuse block.

Check LED power voltage at the switch assembly PPL/WHT wires. Power is provided by the LED dimming control.

Does interior dimming work?

I have a 2005 jeep wrangler tj auto and I put the 10a fuse in the clutch override spot in and now my 4wd light is on does this mean I have a problem with my 4wd or can you tell me why the light comes on...

so its just the light bothering you, (i ignore mine) I can tell car is in 4wd or not, dont need no stinkn light, so....
is it in 4wd or not? we cant guess that. only you..
the light is hard wired to the transfer case switch
if the switch closes, you are in 4wd, or the switch is bad. end story on silly light. and fuse 10 is the power for that light.
on this car , there is no computer running this light,

im driving on what.? dirt, ice, dry pavement what?

my guess, wild. is car is in 4wd. and you are not on ice or dirt and its stuck, Part time 4wd is for dirt or ice only and will stick.

drive to dirt, or jack up 1 wheel
and shift in to 2H.
fixed now?
light out?

answering for PT 4wd . not
came new with NV231 or 241 and both are part time 4wd, now AWD.

ever read this.

Which fuse is the one for the 4/4 switch on the 2001 ranger xlt

All fuses supply power to the four wheel drive control module , the control module supplies power to mode select switch . The 4WD control module accomplishes shifts by interpreting inputs from the following:
  • mode select switch (MSS)
  • vehicle speed signal
  • encoder plate position
  • brake pedal switch
  • digital transmission range (TR) sensor
  • ignition switch
  • transfer case shift motor
  • Based on these inputs, the 4WD control module controls the shifts into 2WD, 4WD HIGH or 4WD LOW with the following outputs:
    • shift motor (clockwise)
    • shift motor (counterclockwise)
  • Fuses
  • Battery junction box (BJB) fuse:
    • 1 (50A)
    • 3 (50A)
    • 13 (20A)
    • 30 (10A)
  • Central junction box (CJB) fuse:
    • 28 (7.5A) (manual transmission)
    • 10 (7.5A)
    • 11 (7.5A)
    • 5 (15A)
    • If the concern remains after the inspection, connect the diagnostic tool to the data link connector (DLC) located beneath the instrument panel and select the vehicle to be tested from the diagnostic tool menu.

I have a tacoma s-runner 2002 and the 4wd switch is not working

check under neath to see that the unit is actually moving into 4wd. It needs to do this to move a micro swith to tell you that somthing has happened. what you appear to have is one light telling you that the power is available but the second light saying that nothing has moved as required a fact born out buy not having 4wd

'93 S-10 Blazer won't shift into 4WD no lights on selector switch

Sounds like a fuse blown, or a connection problem. Take the switch off and check if your getting power to it. Hope this helps.

my 1990 toyota 4wd manual tranny wont go into 4wd.
the 4wd light does not come on but the vehicle feels like it is in 4wd, is there a electrical switch that controls this issue ie; the hubs don't lock in.

I have a 97 expedition. 4wd did not work

You can always get a bad switch out of the box, and that is a pretty common problem on thoes vehicles, Id retest the switch as you are thinking before going elsewhere
