Oil pressure too high fault code
Either your using the incorrect oil for the vehicle or the sensor is defective or there is a blockage in the in the oil galleries. If possible determine what type of oil was used last oil change(use the oil the manufacturer recommends for better temperature properties eg 5w-30 or 0w30 for low temperatures). If you can not determine what type of oil was used, have the vehicles oil pressure checked with a pressure gauge, this way you can determine whether its the sensor, or blockage and you know the true oil pressure your vehicle is producing cause this test bypasses the sensor. Then if its a bad sensor replace it. Blockage could be a lot more detailed. Other than a bad or clogged oil filter clearing out clogged galleries correctly involves a little bit of surgery. Let me know the results of the pressure test and we will take it from there. I'm hoping its a simple incorrect oil type for the season. good luck.

Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid system uses high output electric motor-generator providing more efficient engine operation by capturing electrical energy during braking or deceleration and use of that energy to power the vehicle hence saving valuable fuel. The engine shut off during stops further increases efficiency of the vehicle. This can cause Damage to the Battery System if left UnRepaired for Too Long. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Hey I had the same code and I have a 2000 honda civic lx. My cousin
works at honda and drives a '96 honda civic and he has had that code
before on his car as well.
First thing he came up with was that the catalytic converter was
cracked. We checked mines, and lo and behold, that's what it was.
Look under your hood, and there should be a catalytic converter with a
sensor sticking out of it. It is connected to the exhaust manifold and
the sensor sticks out of the heat shield. Around the sensor, look for a
crack. If there's a crack, that's your problem.

If you go to a reputable motor factor,
you can only be sold the correct filter for the civic.
As there are soo many variables in engine type, it's almost impossible to tell, oil volume, or which type filter.
However, I will say, be sure that you don't mix semi-synthetic oil, and mineral oil.
Oil changes should be undertaken every 30,000 miles, (unless under extra work load, (in which case, slightly more regularly))
Otherwise, 10/40 or 15/40 grade oil, is perfectly fine.
The trick to not overfilling the oil, is simply just to take your time, clean the dip stick and retry, until you have the correct reading.
Please don't forget to rate:)

Have tranny serviced . Check tranny fluid level fill with HONDA ONLY fluid. If not fixed have fluid drained and filter replaced on tranny

I have a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid and have had hell with it. I have also learnt much about it too.
One thing bad about the HCH2, is that the 12V battery controls the electronics, and the Hybrid battery charges the 12V battery. However the 12V battery is not charged all the time, and cannot be charged when the IMA is usually being used, and in different scenarios. (Buy a Electronic volt meter which plugs into the 12V adapter $14 Walmart))
It is possible that the 12V battery is being drained while driving and caused a voltage drop which can cause your problem. In your case, I would change the 12V battery anyway as they do not last long on Hybrids. (You may have to get Honda to trip the IMA warning lights.) In my case, changing the 12v battery helped the hybrid battery as it was the electronics reporting the charge level wrong.
Depending where you live, you will have a minimum 80,000 mile warranty on the hybrid battery.
