Geo metro will not start. gets spark and fuel
You probably know, an engine needs compression, fuel, and spark at the right time to start. So one of those three components are missing.
Will it try to start if you use starting fluid sprayed into the intake? Have you checked compression on all cylinders ? Is the spark blue or white, or is it yellow ?

Seen this a hundred times, the fuel pump was failing due to age, allowing the fuel to get too low too many times, and not changing the fuel filter when you changed the filter you effectively lost the prime in the pump and due to its condition it can not pump enough anymore was that your problem? You might want to see if the timing belt might have jumped. If you getting gas and spark it should of fired.Try this Hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank on it for a few.By doing this you shut off fuel flow to motor and it tries to burn what has been injected.Don't let off of the pedal or make sure to press down before cranking.Maybe it flooded it self by cranking slow..If car still does not start after cranking the motor over a few times spay some starting fluid into the intake or throttle body and try to start. If fires and misses back fires has a slow pedal response its more than likely the timing belt....

Disk brake parts, otherwise known as pad springs. They're on there from the factory. Unless someone was drunk at work again, then the caliper comes off just like changing the pads and the clips go in first, then the pads snap in and caliper goes back on.
