- Hi Kevin, the problem is that we are in Costa Rica in a very rural area, and will get the parts, but not the installation diagram. If you can find it, it would be very helpful for us, since we speak spanish and the technics words for mechanic are hard to understand for us.
- Normally, there is a diagram under the hood, often on the radiator shroud.
But without that, if you look at the pulleys, some have grooves, and
some are flat. The grooved side of the belt goes into the grooves, and
the back side of the belt goes on the smooth pulleys.
If I had a schematic here, it would be very difficult to describe, but
if you go to a parts house, they should let you look through one of
their manuals. Let me try get a picture in the mean time...
The belt routing diagram should be under the hood on a sticker on the hood or front cap over the radiator. If the sticker is not there any more then you can pick up a haynes or chilton manual. These cost about $15 at your local parts house. There aren't any free sites that i know of that would give you a diagram unless you subscribe to there service for a year. Then they hit you with huge fee's. Then its just not worth it. Hope this will get you going. Good luck.
