I have a 2000 acura tl and i disconected my battery to put a new one and now my factory radio is asking for a code. whats the easyest way to get the code for my radio

no matter, if you lost the radio code , only the dealer can helpyou.
call them and ask ,its like #1 reason for phone bells.
if you go to honda.com , its all there , under help and service, read it.

try getting on the bose website and see if their support crew can assist with this issue.. they may know something that the dealer isnt aware of..

on the TL - 5 digit code for the radio; 4 for navi; numbers are typically on a sticker on the side of the glovebox (nearest radio) or rear truck arm (great security acura?). Need to unplug the antenna and then put in the code, reconnect the antenna and your back in business. search the net to learn how to access the back of the radio. typically needed after power is lost to the vehicle, new battery installed, etc.

you proberly need to put a code number in if its a factory fitted radio it should be in with all your drivers handbook or radio manual if not you will have to go to a main dealer and ask them if they can get you the code

This is part of your vehicle's anti theft system. You need to enter a 4 digit code to unlock your radio. Often, the dealer will write this code on a card, and put it in the owner's manual. If not, you need to go to the dealer, and they can look up your code, using the VIN number of your car. There isn't any other way to get this info.
