2005 cadillac deville. I changed front driver side window regulator, now is not working rear driver side window, just noise window module and is not working window motor. Is there some connection with front window?

remove door panel and test the harness

Try changing window switches from known good door. Make sure fuses are good!

DOOR PANEL REMOVAL

Its just fitted with few screws and hidden lock clips. The clips are very delicate and can break easily. But no worry, the clips are easily available.

On some vehicle models these screws are hidden. Once the panel is loose, don't just pull it out, there are few wire connectors connected, first disconnect the connector plug, then lift the panel out and keep in safe place for re-installing.

Window regulator is bad in the drivers door . Do you know what a regulator is ? The Trainer 24 Power Window Troubleshooting Do you know anything about automotive electrical testing ? How to read an use a wiring diagram ? Do you know there are two side to a electrical circuit ? B+ voltage an a ground side . Plus there is electronic control modules and class 2 serial data network involved . When you push the switch for a window othen then drivers window on the drivers door . a class 2 message is sent to the other doors modules . The correct module will then open it's window .

the regulator is usually the weakest link--do u see it in the repair manual-nevr replace parts til u kno the cure--howevr ur wiring may not be secure-inspect

• That click is the window off tract. You need to pull the door panel off and have a look at the tract and regulator. Sounds off track to me. The fact that it is click tells me that the power feed is not the issue and the fuses are working fine or you would not hear any "clicking."

The drivers switch on GM cars has the window control module built into it. This is more than likely your problem, it is very common for this.
