Have you checked your tires for uneven wear, bulges? Next would be to check wheel balance and alignment. Finally bushings on steering.

I have found that worn tires sound like bad wheel bearings and can create front end shimmer.

I hope that this helps.

Front end vibration at 40 mph and rubbing sound

Vibration at 40 mph hard to diagonisis without looking at front end. Could be wheels need balancing, new wheels and rims. Loose or worn suspension items.
Bring vehicle into a tire and alignment shop. Most Sears auto center have them.
With regards to rubbing noise again hard to diagonisis without looking at the affected tire, probably a splash shield hitting the tire in reverse.
Alignment shop will find the problem.

Had bad vibration in front end of car when brakes applied, installed new rotors and pads, still have slight vibration when brakes applied.

do u feel the vibration in the steering wheel or in the seat,i bet the most vibration was coming out of the front brakes and a little out of the rear brakes,u might want to change the rear brakes if the vibration is still annoying, also were the front wheels torqued to spec when installed?? if not u might end up with warped front brakes again, hope this helped

Front end vibration

Sounds like a separated tire, alignment will NEVER cause a shake. Or you have a very loose front end part or both.

Vibration when steering

Hi. I would Check the lower ball joints on the front-end. You will find that they could be loose and the cause of your vibration problem. I would also Check the U-joints as you may have one that is worn and gets out of alignment while coasting. also, a bad or malfunctioning power steering pump can also cause this type of disruption as well but, its quite noticeable because of the whining sound it will imitate. you will find the problem in one or both of the areas discussed.

Please rate and god bless.
