Usually is the crank sensor. If you need to be sure, you should have 5V signal wire, ground wire, and a 5V supply wire. Make sure you have 5V, and ground. If you do, replace the sensor.

1993 jeep grand Cherokee Larado stalling for no reason. we have looked or changed coil, fuel pump, relays, cam sensor inside distributor, this thing still stalls out, but starts right back up.

Crank sensor. Its on the passenger side on the top of tranny. Will have either 1 or 2 10mm bolts holding it on. And a plug. My 94 had the same problem. It would run fine then you shut it off and all it woild do is crank. Wait like an hour and it will start back up. New crank sensor and it was fine

Won't start but engine is crank my jeep model 1993 fuel gasoline

Make sure that when you turn the ignition key on that you see the check engine light does light up on the dash, before you try cranking the engine. If no check engine light is on, the jeep won't start. If the check engine light is on and it still won't start then it could be your crank sensor, fuel pump or a host of other problems not allowing it to start.

94 buick lesabre 3800 engine, stalls after 10 mile drive and will not start till cools. replaced TPS, Fuel pumpand filter, cam sensor, crank sensor, and ignition control module.

next time it won't run after it heats up, spray or pour water in crank sensor and see if it will start. I have seen new crank sensors go bad.

I have a 1993 jeep grand cherokee limited and this past week I went to start the jeep and it wouldn't start, after about 10 minutes I started the jeep and gave it a little gas and she fired right up. I...

Jeeps have a part called the crank sensor, when working properly it senses the electrical feild produced by flywheel. This crank sensor which is located on top of the tranny bell housing has been known to go bad. When this crank sensor goes bad the CPU does not get a crank reference and the computer will not fire the injectors. This crank sensor will fail under high temps and if it is old will fail also when cold.
You have to find out if the injectors are getting a pulse when the car does'nt start.

1993 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO IM TOTALLY BAFFLED

Back up a minute...Do you have spark from the coil wire? (juice from coil) If so, change or check rotor and cap (wires do not all go bad at same time so unless they are wet, likely at least good enough to start engine)

you may have bent the flex plate ring.so it might be to far away from the crank sensor air gap.

Car will not start

If this is a six cylinder, there were problems with the fuel pressure regulator leaking gas into the vacuum line creating a flooded condition. You might want to check map sensor, crank sensor.
