These can give lots of trouble trying to bleed the air out of the cooling system, and can cause major damage if air is not completely removed before driving the car. Theres a couple of things you can do. Firstly jack the car up on 1 side, so the header tank (coolant filling point) it at the highest point. Fill the coolant up and start the vehicle. Let the engine run for a good 15 minutes with the cap off, when the engine has reached operating temp it should take a little bit more coolant . Feel the bottom radiator hose, make sure is quite warm to touch, this will tell you that you have flow n that the thermostate has opened. Next turn the heater on full hot n make sure u have warm air coming out. Refit cap to header tank. And lower vehicle back down. Test drive the vehicle without going to far. Make sure the temp gauge is at its normal position (bout the middle of the gauge) . You should have all the air out. But to be sure, its a gud idea to get it to operating temp. Then park it up over night and recheck the coolant level in the morning before starting.
I hope this helps
