You could but you may need the torsion bar adjuster tool. I am sure you can get by without it on this truck. Make sure you have a good jack that goes pretty high and some jack stands. Hammer back if you need some directions.

I have broken the sub axel in the front diff of my d22 nissan navara. Just wondering if there is a diagram of this that tells me what's inside so I can ascertain what parts I need

You will need to replace the entire axle, or it will fail again. That is a job for at least an intermediate skill mechanic with specialized tools required. CV Axles are around $50 to $75, around 2 hours labor at a shop.

How to fix the lifters on my audi a4 1996

This is not a simple job and requires the removal of a substantial part of your engine, unless you have reasonable mechanical skills it is not something that can be done without taking it to a mechanic.

Constant velocity joint gone on audi a4 how to repair ??

For this job you must remove the tie rod, upper ball joint and lower strut bolts. I would not recomend this job unless your skills are at intermediate at a minimum, and even if you think you can hold your own, do yourself a favor and purchase a Haynes repair manual to walk you through the repair because it can be quite difficult on some cars to get the new cv joint half shaft back into the transmission.

Where is the water pump located at?

Hi

The water pump is driven by the timing belt on these engines and you have to remove the timing cover and the belt to allow the water pump to be removed. The water pump itself is in behind this cover.

This is a big job and requires a high degree of mechanical skill. The belt will need to be retensioned and the engine timing checked. It is also highly recommended that the timing belt be completely replaced whilst you are doing this job. For these reasons I do not recommend that you attempt this yourself unless you are confident in your mechanical skills.

Many thanks for using FixYa.

2005 GMC 3500 PU LOW OIL PRESSURE 6 LITER ENG

You didn't say how many miles were on the truck or if there was any clunking down around the oil pan. If your pressure gauge is wandering, your oil pressure sending unit may be bad. If the sending unit is OK, it is time to drop the oil pan.

You may have to drop the tie rod or sway bar to get it out. Check the oil pick-up screen for blockage. If it is clear, check the oil pump for excess play. Replace if needed. If the screen is blocked, clean it by soaking in solvent, replace the oil pump, drop the rod and main bearing caps and examine the crank bearing surfaces. If they are in good condition, you can buy .001" undersized bearings. Lubricate generously and reassemble. Torque to the correct setting, then put the pan back on. This job can be done by one or two moderately skilled back yard mechanics if supplied with a case of beer.

If the bearing surfaces are scarred, take the crankshaft out and take it to a machine shop. You are going to have to take out the timing chain on the front end and unbolt the torque converter or flywheel from the back end of the crank. This job requires a good bit more skill, so unless you have an expert mechanic on speed dial, take it to a shop.

94 ford aspire front driver side wheel bearing replacement

The bearing can be replaced at home and its fairly easy, You would buy the hole hub assembly and take out the four torx bolts that holds the Hub in place and remove it with a rubber dead blow hammer. and install the new one torq. to the specs indicated on the new instructions and you done. I don't know why they would need a press to do a job that you can buy a hole new hub assembly for the same price. Hope that gets your car fixed cheaper than you expected. And Thanks. Bear001
