There is a CD that is stuck in the multi CD player of my 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx. It won't eject or Play any of the CD's. I tried disconnecting the power to reset the system bu that didn't work.
The only thing that is left for you to do is to remove the stereo and then disassemble it and remove it yourself. A little daunting but needs to be done. Sounds like it went in wrong and then became jammed
Ny wifes 05 maxx did this, Beaware to remove the radio you have alot to disassemble. To get to the unit start at the doors with the little end panels at dash on sides, then glove box and dash trim around sterringwheel, then center console area to get radio out. The 04+ malibu and pontiac G6 (or was it g5?) were the first GM's with intergrated LAN systems, you can not just replace that radio with any system seeing the cars functions are intergrated with that radio without buying a aftermarket lan kit and display. Once deck is out, pull a few screws and remove CD. (Wifes worked just fine once bad cd was out). TOo bad they didnt put a manual eject button like alot of CD players and PC's have.
