04 dodge neon with codes po700 and po750 what are these and how can I fix this car runs fine but wont shift out of first gear

Code 700 is a generic code that means there is a problem with the transmission or the control module. Code 750 is for a problem with the low-reverse solenoid circuit.
The circuit and the trans control module would need to be checked. A shop manual will be necessary to get the testing procedures.

Trns shift problem

On chrysler product vehicles that use the electrical solonoids inside the trans oil pan can usually just be removed and cleaned and they will usually function correctly again. They have a tendency to get laquered up and stick if the trans fluid has not been serviced regurarly. This happenes from the neon all the way up to the dodge 3/4 ton pickups with the gasoline engines.
