Car was running, I stopped it to check my box. When I tried to start it again, it would not start. Radio works, interior, exterior and dash lights work but are very dim. Any suggestions? When I try to turn the key to start the engine, there is some movement but the cranking power begins to fade quickly. Any suggestions?

Your battery is dead. Boost it to get it running, and have your system checked. You may have loose or dirty battery cables, a faulty battery or alternator, etc.

Why won't my car start? no lights interior/exterior.

It seems that the battery is incapable of holding a charge. You might try disconnecting the battery cables and try charging the battery again over night. Reconnect and see if anything works - if nothing works - it's time for a new battery.

I changed the stereo in my 1993 pajero now the dash and parking lights don't work what could this be

To start, a fuse. The radio receives a signal or feed from the interior lights so that it will dim or brighten with the interior and dash lights. during the radio installation it may be that this wire was left off and not insulated, or used as a power lead, etc.

Start by checking your fuses, the interior dash lights and exterior marker lights are on the same fuse, so start by finding a burned fuse, replace it with same size, and then do this: Without turning the key on at all, try your lights and see if they work... if they do not, and the fuse blows immediately, that wire is shorted to ground, either touching a metal part of the inner dash or hard-wired incorrectly to the radio. It may be that it was mistaken as a ground wire during the change-out.

If after replacing the fuse, the lights come on, then turn the radio on and see if it blows. Whether it does nor not, the first place to check is the last place changes were made. If you return to check the wiring to the radio and cannot find the problem, disconnect the radio entirely, turn the lights on with a good fuse in place, then reconnect the wires one by one, keeping an eye on the lights, when they go off (fuse blows), that is the wire that is either mis-assigned or can be left off. Most newer radios are all led and it is not necessary to send a signal to it from the lights. Good Luck!

2003 PT Cruiser interior and dash lights not working

If your car's overheating, make sure you have enough coolant in the system. While you're under the hood look for disconnected wires near dash then check your fuse box for broken fuses. Please check your coolant, little to no coolant = a new engine ~$5000!

Interior lights, radio, power mirors, remote door lock and power truck release do not work at all. Replace fuse and still dont work. Any ideas? Thanks

it is your body control module. . did not mix it up with the computer. the bcm runs every thing inside the car locks/radio/mirrors /etc.. in your car it is part of the fuse box under the dash

My interior lights stopped working, my radio won't come on, and my locks stopped working when the car is off I have to lock them manually. Also when I'm driving at night my brake and battery lights bl

Assuming you have checked all fuses, the next step would be to locate central grounding points (there may be several) and remove and clean battery terminals and the remote ends of the cables at their attachment points.Locating some of these may be easier with a manual covering the electrical system of the car:
Sebring manual
When removing battery cables, always start with the negative cable first and reattaching it last.

2003 Murano interior lights all stopped working at same time.

if the problem is that the interior light does not work, and have already checked the fucibles and appear well or not, housed the correct fuse. Just disconnect the battery cable and connect buelbelo .. and you will be surprised to see that your lights funcionana. I do not believe it but I worked it costs nothing to test.
