Thundergod is correct, whoever put the timing chain on did not have the cam and crank in time. With the timing cover off, you need to make sure the mark on the crank is at 12oclock, and the mark on the cam gear is at 6oclock. Then install the timing chain. This will fix the problem.
Good luck.

SOURCE: Mazda Tribute 2002 engine cuts out randomly

I had a Mazda 626 with a similar problem, the car seemed to 'shut down' with no warning, even at highway speeds, as if I just turned the ignition key to 'Off'; After trying to fix it unsuccessfully by replacing several electrical parts, the problem was found to be a defective ignition switch, it was replaced and the problem went away.

SOURCE: I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and recently the air

need to replace clock spring which is located under steering wheel airbag, if you are going to carry out repair disconnect battery and leave for at least 5 mins then you can strip down steering wheel safely without possible airbag going off, but you will need a steering wheel pulling tool and the rest is quite straight forward

My oil pressure gauge (on the top right of the dashboard) randomly shows the oil pressure going down to zero (check gauge light comes on) and then randomly goes back into the normal range. It happens...

Did you compare what your dash gauge read when it was acting up and compare it to the manual gauge at the same time? I know you said you used the manual gauge and it read fine so if you get a proper reading out of the manual gauge and an improper reading out of the dash gauge then your dash gauge needs addressed.

random no crank could be a seal has gone on a sensor plug you will need to check the connection plugs on the sensors, check all the plug connections and especially the co2 sensors as they get most of the road dirt on them while driving, clean the connections with emery cloth. any white or cream colors on the connections clean off. and replace the rubber seal.

We have a 2002 pontiac grand prix gt with wet snow the windshield wipers came apart at the base (under cowling) got it fixed they work now but the driverside stops at 3/4 swipe then goes down. passanger...

While the wipers are in the parked state, just loosen off (or remove) the wiper arm from the drive spigot and re-position the driverside wiper arm to the correct position.
Re-tighten arm drive mount and all should be well.

AIR BAG LIGHT AND CHIME RINGS PERIODICALLY

I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokee Limited and Had similar problem. Found out that a wire/connection harness had gotten cut under PASSENGER seat.from seats moving back and forth. It's part of the airbag system, it tells airbag system if seatbelt is fastened and if occupant is in seat. Since the wire is broken, it can't report back to air back system and activates the light. try this, hope it helps.
