Check coolant temp sensor connections. May be running to rich or lean depending on voltage/resistance output to the ecu.

there is not it is fuel injected, you are looking for the idle air control valve . it is located on the throttle body

a bad engine coolant temperature sensor will cause cold no start conditions.your coolant sensor main sensor during cold start condition because when engine coolant cold PCM will cause rich fuel mixture for cold start up when engine coolant and oxygen sensor warms up cause engine goo in close loop lean mixture.but coolant sensor is the main information sensor if bad it will cause many problems.

On a 1988 toyota pickup i have a valve rattle problem i think its running leen til its worm how long dose the start injectot stay on the valves are quite once its worm


no its not running lean,,,the velves will rattle when cold,,its the way they are,,,the cold start will only stay on for a fuw minuets till the engine temp censor tell it to shut off

1999 windstar wont stay running low rpms and stalls


these vehicles have the problem of leaking upper intake gaskets especially when cold. it causes the gaskets to shrink and leak they need to be replaced to correct this
