this is a different tip from the title.

This tip is to troubleshoot the hazard, turn, and stop lights for a 95 Grand Marquis. If none of these lights are working, the problem is either with the power to the multi-function switch or the switch itself. Note that the center-high brake light should work independently of the multi-function switch or the lighting control module. The power to the multi-function switch comes from fuse 5 and runs on a pink wire with an orange stripe.
The multi-function switch is accessible under the steering column cowl.

What would make the entire instrument panel not work. i checked all fuses.


dodge had a bad run of circuit boards. the interior of your car must have become extremely hot and some of the traces of the instrument cluster have become disconnected because the solder melted. it is a known problem. the only solution is a replacement unit which will have to be done by a dealer to program it.

Climate control - no display- no power


Look under the bug screen where the windshield meets the firewall. The control module is on the passenger side of the car.

I have a 1996 mustang v6 no power to fuel pump. Bought used fuel pump relay still have np power. Safty switch is good. Unpluged fuel turned switch on and i have constant power of 9.52 volts plug in pump...


9.5 volts sounds like the power coming from the gas gauge.
I am showing a relay module with the fuel pump and pcm relays built in along with two other relays. The fuel pump relay should not be accessable. In most cases the pump relay gets power from a 20amp fuse and the computer grounds the relay when needed. Power goes from the pump relay to the inertia switch then to the pump. So the inertia switch should be hot when the pump relay is activated.

I need a wiring diagram from a CODE ALARM CA-135 two-way security with keyless entry, to a 1989 Chevy Silverado 1500.


First, do you have the code alarm master module required for this to work? Model Ca-425. You can get the wiring for the car from the12volt.com.

1972 VW classic. Starts when cold, NP, won't


It's your starter. When a faulty starter is cold, it will function but once it warms up, it requires more and more power to get it to work. Although you may have sufficient power to turn on the lights radio etc... a starter requires much more power to engage. A new starter should solve your problem. Best of luck.
