SOURCE: 2000 blazer power seat
The guy that posted the first solution...that works...My power seat module went bad , so I used a 12 volt batery charger on the wires to move my power seats.

hi, this is a difficult one the problem is it does just pull of so dont be to worried about breaking it as if its going to break then its going to break, you can try placing a screwdriver about an inch down from the top then push it in about half inch then try prying it off.
It will come off and is just held in by rubber or plastic bungs so it does just pull off, dont be to worried if the plastic has gone weak due to sun then it may break but usually it will just pull off.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

SOURCE: Trying to replace the timing
If you see oil from the timing cover, you've got bigger problems. Regardless, rust penetrant never hurts. Diff tricks for busting stubborn fasteners:
-Tighten a smidge before trying to loosen. (busts loose rust)
-Without damaging the head, sharply tap the head with a suitable size hammer.
-6 point bites better than 12 pt
-Always enure you've got a good bite and watch your knuckles.
Those bolts aren't that tight anyway, you'll get it.

If all bolts are off take a screw driver and find a spot where you can pry the intake off the heads and block. The get pretty stuck to the gaskets and sealer after a while. Pry in as many spots as you can to distribute the pressure and lift it as evenly as possible.
