Question about 1995 Chevrolet Lumina
When I first got the car 8 months ago I noticed a slight delay when going from first to secong gear. Never really giving it any thought it has progressively gotten to the point now when I take off it feels like it goes from 1st gear and straight to 3rd after only getting up to 10mph before shifting very hard and bogging in the low rpm range. Also note it is the 4T60e with an L85 motor.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: when i shift from 1st
Car need to be taken to a transmission service shop.
If you keep driving it the way it is,,you could break the gear altogether, this will add to your repair bill.
Right now,,it could be just an adjustment.

Check both O2 sensor(s) and catalytic coverter.. P0420 means catalyst below threshold. Also check the sensor at the transmission and solenoid.
