SOURCE: 1995 Toyota Celica Front Wheel Hub

The same thing happened to my 95 Celica, the first mechanic or suspension shop replaced the front wheel bearings and about a month later the noise was back. I took it to another shop and they said that the bearing were bad because the base of the spindle assemble, where the bearing sits, was wallowed out. They replaced it and the bearings and all is good. I would have them check the spindle assembly.

SOURCE: how do u remove front wheel bearing

Take off the wheel, then the brake caliper, noow you have the roter. in the center is a cap, the center cap, this comes off by pruing it off with a screwdriver. Inside that a retaning pin, take that out, then a nut cover, and nut with grooves in it from where you took out the pin. It is good to mark about where it was so when you put it together, you will not overtighten it.

Take that nut off, then you should be able to take off the whole assembly, bearings and all. If this is a sealed unit, you have to but a roter that will have the guts already inside it. make sure you clean off all of the old grease, you are going to replace critical parts, so you need new grease for them. Also make sure your spildle is not grooved, if so haw bad, you might replace it to if all gualled up.

on a sealed unit you just reverse the steps from taking it off.

if not you have to knock out the old races in the caliper, the one side by a wide screwdriver and hammer, there are pullers, but from the way it sounds, it is in there tight. Just be carefull not to kill the sides and rotate it around when doing this. once it is out, do the other side, find a socket that size, one thak will fit in the race almost to the edges and beat it out. now make sure the caliper is in a flat surface, and use a blanket or something toi avoid knicking the thing.

once both are out, just reverse the process, grease the inside just a bit and when you put the race in use a socket that is the size of the race, and beat it in evenly.grease your bearings, make sure you do one side at a time, and putting them back on the spindle is a cake walk compared to what you just have done.

hope this helps

Mazda mpv 2006 repack wheel bearing

There is a little difference between the front and rear. The days of packing wheel bearing is almost over. The front bearing you have to pull the hub and change to bearing. The rear wheel you have to change out the hub bearing and all. The front is a sealed bearing and not serviceable. Please rate my answer so I am rewarded points for it.

replace the bearing or wheel hub assembly.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION 2wd Models NOTE: Refer to wheel bearing service and bearing preload adjustment procedures found in Section 1.
  1. Raise the front of the truck and support it with safety stands. Remove the wheels.
  2. Remove the brake caliper and suspend it with wire, out of the way. Remove the caliper torque plate if equipped.
  3. Remove the dust cap and then remove the cotter pin, lock washer (if equipped) nut lock and nut.
  4. Pull the hub/disc assembly off the spindle with the outer bearing. Don't let the bearing fall out.
  5. Pry the inner oil seal out and remove the inner bearing. To install:

  10. Press the hub assembly onto the spindle and install the outer bearing and thrust washer.
  11. Install the hub nut. Turn the hub a few times to seat the bearings and then loosen the nut until there is 0mm axial play. Using a spring tension gauge, check that the preload (with new grease seal installed) is 2.2–6.4 lbs. (9.8–28.4N)
  12. Install the lock-nut, new cotter pin and hub grease cap.
  13. Install the brake torque plate. Install the brake caliper.

Refer to Sections 1 and 7 for additional information. Adjust the preload after the wheel bearing is replaced or the front axle assembly is reassembled. BEARING PRELOAD ADJUSTMENT
  1. Thoroughly clean all parts and pack the wheel bearings.
  2. Apply grease to threaded portions of the spindle, grease seal lip and wheel hub.

2wd front wheel need to replace bearings or hub assembly which is best

A Front Wheel Drive Vehicle Can Have Two Types Of Rear Wheel Bearings: Serviceable Bearings, Or Nonserviceable, Sealed Bearings. When Sealed Bearings Fail, The Bolts Holding The Bearing And Hub To The Axel Or Control Arm Must Be Removed. When Installing The New Bearing Assembly, Torque The Bolts To Specifications. Some Manufacturers require The Use Of New Fasteners When Rear Bearings And Hubs Are Replaced.

When A Serviceable Wheel Bearing Is Used, The Bearing Can Be Disassembled And Packed With Grease. It Is Serviced Like A Front Wheel Bearing On A Rear-wheel-Drive-Car.
