Fuse number 17 is a 30 Amp fuse for the cigarette lighter.
17 is no the top row second from the left.
The fuse you are looking for is in the fuse panel inside the vehicle to the left of the steering wheel down by the brake pedal. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout and I have marked the fuse you are wanting to check (number 23). Hope this helps....
It sounds like it will be a fuse, it is unlikely to be a coincidence that the cigarette lighter is not function as well. One fuse probably covers both these items, replace that fuse and they should both work once more.
had the same problem changed the lcm (lighting control module) problem solved bought it on e-bay for $110 dollars. :)
That module is $435 from lincoln. Good Luck!
It is probably the accessory fuse.. Find the location in your manual and check it and replace it it.. If its not the fuse - its the actual lighter - the hand held part.. You can find a replacement at most auto part stores..
In the fuse box under the dash on the left side of the steering column. I believe it a 30 Amp fuse but I forget the position number. It is also the fuse for the engine code reader plug.
