Engine running rough all of the sudden

I have a 2006 ford 500 se fwd car. I am throwing codes p0171,p0106,p0340,p2197,p0106,p0171,p0340,p2197 all 8 codes came up on the scan of the check engine light in that order. it runs and idles but runs really rough put it in drive it dies. hit the gas while holding the brake and it will drive. sluggish up to speed but let off gas pedal and it runs great till u hit the gas or come to a stop and it will die if you don't power brake but restart it and idles fine but rough and sounds as if it may have a chatter but research of the codes suggest bad map sensor is causing problems im on limited budget and cannot afford expensive engine repairs any ideas on the problems, or a cheap fix to get her on the road please let me know in need of help

SOURCE: 1993 olds cutlass supreme 3.1 multi port loading up at idle

Here are some of the causes of surges, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

2006 Ford F-150 5.4 engine: code P0191 fuel rail pressure sensor circuit range / performance

First step is to change the fuel filter and test the car. If the problem still occurs: The fuel pump driver module was corroded through from salt and was malfunctioning. Bought a new one and runs great. Problem fixed. See pictures below:

This is why salt destroys cars.

SOURCE: i have five codes P2237

P2237 P2196 P2271 P0030 P0171

These are all O2 sensor trouble codes, except P0171 which is a fuel trim code,

You have a bad 02 sensor - up stream - Bank 1 Sensor 1.

Replace it, then road test. The engine computer has a 'default' fuel trim it uses when an O2 sensor fails so it can protect the catalytic converter. If this hasn't been going on too long, good chance simply replacing the O2 sensor will remedy your problem.

2005 aviator has trouble codes P0171,P0174,p0106,P300,P03162195

p0171 and 174 indicate an intake vacuum leak. get the intake smoked at a reputable shop. the other codes are probably related to the intake leak. if you are confident enough you can get some aerosol brake cleaner and spray it around the intake manifold and hoses while the engine is running. a change in rpm indicates a leak

Code 0171 bank one too lean chuggs at idle

P0171 trouble code and a rough idle
Confirm on the P0171=Lean. This would suggest not enough fuel for the amount of air applied. If you air intake wasn't closed off correctly, you may have been sucking excess air and fixing the cover would have righted this if so. It would be possible that your unfiltered air intake may have fouled either a plug or an injector (or multiples). Cleaning plugs is an easy DIY. If its the injectors, I'd take it in. The sensor is probably correct based on your description. If it's throwing the P0171 code then it is sensing lean mixture and the car running rough would support that result.
Not enough gas is the same as too much air in the air-gas mix.. There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the mass air flow sensor. Vaporize some kind of carburator or throttle body cleaner (not in excess when hot keep face and hands at a distance)around the intake conduits and hoses while the engine is running. When the engine idle changes, you will have found the position of the leak.
check all vacuum hoses foe amsplit or tear.

My cadillac deville has the following engine codes when hooed up: P0106, P0121, P0171, P0174, P0335, P0340, P0385, P0442, P0506, P0506, P0507, P0601.

click on the below links for code details.

all of the above codes seem to have a common cause, they all list a bad ecm (computer) as being a cause, and the last code P0601 points specifically to a bad computer. sorry for the bad news, hope this helps.

Remove the housing that covers the engine block and look behind the engine block, up against the firewall towards the bottom of the block there are some vaccum hoses(this is easier to get too if the car is up in the air, or lifted on jack stands) get yourself a aerosall can of brake cleaner and lightly spay around all the hoses til you find your leak( the vehicle must be running) be very careful cause the fluid you spray can catch fire if it hits the exhaust manifold when it gets hot. good luck
