Do some checking if you haven't already, the harness may already be there under carpet. If not, you may have to sweet talk a service guy at dealership for the print you need, or try www.alldata.com.

Have a streetrod need to know how to wire up 8 way power seats from a2006 cady cts

Not exactly sure what you mean by "wire up". Do you have the original connector(s) coming out of the motor(s) from the CTS? Is that what you are needing to hook up or do you need the wiring for the motor assembly itself. that seat is heated as well as wiring for stuff like the seat bett reminder & lumber support. Just want to make sure I'm giving you the right information as there is quite a bit of wiring/diagrams (connectors etc..). You can reply back here or feel free to email me directly at csautomotivecars@att.net. I'll be happy to try and help.

The main brain box for the alarm should be under the seat. follow the wires... disconect those that are tied into others and solder the color coded splits back together as you find them. (don't just twist em , bro. solder em....they will haunt you otherwise!)

Heated seats dont work, fuses ok, switches light up, no heat

That is a common problem with that vehicle. It is likely that the seat heating elements are burned out. To find out if this is the case, you must unbolt the seat from the floor so you can tilt the seat back and gain access to the electrical connectos for the seat elements. If you have power and ground at the connector with the switch turned on, then the seat element is at fault.

Other than this, there are several other reasons why the seat heaters possibly will not work. In these cases, you will need a digital meter to test the voltage on the seat circuits as well as a wiring diagram to help you know where to perform the testing in order to locate the cause of the problem.

I would be happy to provide you with the wiring diagrams (and possibly, other instructional diagrams) if needed. Just visit my profile by clicking the link next to mt screen-name below and when you get o my profile click on the "Pro Services" tab to take you to the list of services I can provide. Click on any one of these, or you can simply click on any of my ads that are on the FixYa site to sign up for email support and I will get the diagrams to you.

Help installing a heated seat in 1999 VW Jetta

You need that sensor or you will overheat the heaters and may start a fire. I imagine that the sensor shuts them down when they reach a certain temperature.

Try going to the dealership and asking the guys in the shop there. They would be the ones who could really tell you whats going on.

I hope this keeps you out of the hot seat!

Installation instruction heated seats 19159289

It sounds to me like what your asking is where do you find the wiring harness for the heated seats.
Remove the front seat, and look under the carpet where there is a cut out, there should be a wirting harness for the heated seats, as well as a wiring harness for the seatbelt alarm switch.
See if the wiring harness they sent you, will fit that one supplied in the truck, if it does then you are in business my friend.

Wiring problems

Yes, but if you don't have a really good diagram for both, you will need to identify each function by trial & error, then remove wires in harness and put them in the right places in the harness plug Use original plug from old seat on new seat.Don't change anything in body harness.

Both front heated seats not working

Page 43 in the document linked to below is a wiring diagram of the heated seats in an 850. If you're lucky some wires have come loose and are hanging under the seats, if you're unlucky you might have to do some shredding of the seats in order to replace broken parts. If so there is a fairly inexpensive repair kit made specifically for this purpose, but I don't have the part number available right now. Arm yourself with a multimeter and get to it!

Good luck!
