Basic . remove drive shaft. remove rear engine mount after supporting gear box on mobile jack and engine ,with blocks under sump undo gear box bolts and if the starter motor is involved . remove the terminal from the battery first. undo the slave cylinder of the bell housing / cable if applicable. pull the gear box to the rear . remove the pressure plate bolts by going around the plate a little at a time . Lift the pressure plat away and catch the clutch plate as it falls out. Make sure that you see the way the clutch plate goes in as if you install the new one incorrectly you will be pulling the box again. check the spigot bearing / bush in the rear of the crank shaft and if faulty or worn replace it . check flywheel face and if you want a good job then have it re-machined to flat again . Follow tensioning procedures when replacing the flywheel. put the clutch plate in position and use a clutch aligning tool to ensure that it is centred. AT this point if the plate is in correctly you should be able to hold it against the flywheel and turn it freely without the hub hitting on the fly wheel bolts. fit the new pressure plate and do the bolts up in the correct manner to the tension specs. . Replace the throw out bearing on to the housing in the throw out fork. Remove the clutch aligning tool ( tap with hammer if it appears jammed ) refit the gear box and associated items in reverse order of removal.

Manual car. Over revving through all gears and very slow acceleration.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. You can try and adjust it but most newer models dont have adjustments.

I have a 2006 mustang gt Manuel trasmission just replaced clutch and Slave cylinder my pedal feels good but when in turn on the car it won't let me shift into gear

I am thinking that the clutch plate is in back to front and the plate centre is hitting on the flywheel bolts . If you have an inspection plate under the clutch have some one depress the clutch and see if you can spin the clutch plate ( in neutral naturally). If this is the case then the fix is box out and re-install the plate properly.

How can I go about turning my automatic 97 vw jetta into a Manuel?

there will be a lot of work involved . You have to fit a clutch pedal and brackets under the dash. Fit a clutch master cylinder in the engine compartment. Install a line to the slave cylinder . Fir wiring for the clutch and so on . Manuals are cheap and the trade on an automatic makes more sense . Cost it out including all the problems you will encounter and you will find a change of car a better idea.

I have a 77 Toyota PU. New Clutch installed. Slave and throughout adjusted properly. Adjustment under dash adjusted full out. Still I have to jam the clutch all the way to the floor and barely able to get...

if it worked good before the clutch kit was installed , but not after then the clutch installation is incorrect
probably find the the clutch plate has been installed incorrectly
with a correctly fitted clutch kit , there is no necessity to change pedal height or anything else

1998 Saturn SC1 manuel stick is hard to shift into 1st & 2nd gear

Try to double clutch the clutch pedal. How to double clutch; push the clutch in moving the stick to neutral, then release the clutch and then push it back in and shift into first or second gear. If it works then it is not the shift linkage and could be a clutch adjustment. First how far do you have to release the clutch pedal until the clutch plate starts to engage? If only an inch or so the clutch pedal needs to be adjusted, which is an easy fix (this is more common). The other possible problems could be the clutch plate, throwout bearing of syncros could be bad. If it is one of the previous problems double clutching should buy you some time.
