I have a 2011 Chevy Cruze I fill it with gas and it has a hard time starting after what does that mean

Some vehicles, if you top off the tank after the fill valve clicks off, have a tendency to have issues with the evap system properly venting the tank. This can cause starting issues. It is also possible that you may be having issues with the fuel pump, as the fuel coming from the underground tank will be in most cases colder than the fuel in the tank, although this is not as likely. How do I fix the problem of my 2004 SV6 commodore being hard to start every time I fill the tank with fuel. The problem disappears once it starts until the next time I fill the tank.

you need to replace the canister purge valve it is stuck open and is allowing fuel vapors to fill your intake manifold and causes a flooding issue which takes the engine longer crank time to clear out the vapors.

What would cause my Hyundai Santa Fe to start hard every time I put fuel in the tank? It doesn't mater if I just put a couple of gallons in or fill it up.

First sign of pump going bad when it is being filled fuel swirls the dirt around in the tank and when you go to start it it is hard. after the pump is running it runs fine til the next time.

Mu Sorento was hard to start. Eventually I noted that the coolant level was very low. When I filled ti, car started really fast. Another, hard to start, the brake fuel was very low, filled it and it started real fine. A coincidence or are there alarm settings there?

I have a hard time starting my 04 Santa Fe after i fill up

it was running then you removed the gas cap to fill ( extremely dangerous practice with car running)
that indicates that there is a problem with the EVAP system.
run the fault codes ( what the dealers should have done first ) and check for the EVAP codes , purge vent or solenoid problems

I have a hard time starting my 04 Santa Fe after i fill up

The most common cause of this is thermal shock (gasoline is very cold out of the ground) to the electric fuel pump inside the fuel tank, when the pumps get worn the decrease in temperature from the gasoline causes the pump to stick. This is a question I see fairly often, so I did research to see what the common cause is. Next time this happens have the fuel pressure checked.
