Assuming the water (hopefully you mean water/anti-freeze coolant mixture) is going into the filler cap hole at the top of the radiator expansion reservoir, there are several possibilities: lower radiator hose not connected, radiator drain plug missing or loose or gasket missing, hole in expansion reservoir or radiator, coolant level sending unit missing or loose or gasket missing.

From what you say by pouring you may have a bad freeze plug. You would have to find the origin of the leak to be sure

I have BMW 318 / 05 plate. The engine oil cap has cream colour gunk on it. The oil dipstick has just a tiny bit of cream gunk ... Why is this happening. Please help.

This is water foam caused by infrequent oil changes, poor quality oil (Quaker State, Pennsoil), or possible head gasket leak.

I have a BMW 318d Tourer, when driving the car tells me doors are open but they are not also when stationary lights are flickering.

check your engine ground. also check for body ground as most computerized vehicles complete the circuits by grounding them. no ground or poor ground will cause the symptoms. could be as simple as cleaning battery terminals

Probably a ground wire. A lot of automotive electrical problems are due to dirty ground wires due to the fact that the ground wires are exposed. Find where it grounds, remove the ground wire. Mix a lot of baking soda in water, keep it mixing. Dip the wire into the solution until it stops bubbling. Remove and dry wire. Then get the solution mixing again and poor it over the spot the wire connects to. Dry it. Reconnect ground. That will most likely fix the problem. Not sure where the ground is, probably have to trace it back. Unless you have the tech specs on the car. That should tell you where it is.

Computer started goin mad on my 2004 bmw 735i all of a sudden stared telling me the car was overheating then the parking brake had a fault then it went on to transmission faults etc! its no sat in my drive...

Grounding faults (poor or missing ground from engine to frame/ battery to frame) would be the first thing I would check. Use an Ohm meter to check to see if you have solid grounds to all the critical points. A bad ground will make your electronics go nuts.

Water leak coming from back of engine. 1998 BMW 318i 1.9

Hi, on these engines they have a plastic elbow at the back of the cylinder head that gat brittle and break inside the head, it may look ok but it would be a good place to start to look for a coolant leak as this is quite common. regards mark.
