SOURCE: Hi, where is the fuel, filter located on a 2003 mistubishi Pajero 3.5ltr engine

Hi there:The fuel filter for a 3.0L is located in the fuel tank with the fuel pump. It is not recommended for servicing like a external filter is. On 3.5L Then it's located on the right side frame rail.

SOURCE: I have a 95 nj pajero has a shudder only when

Check first if you do not have any gear box broken mounting,or engine mounting. Is no need to have a u-joint wear, probably the u-joint has one of the caps seized and on rotation is shuddering the car. What about your rear differential any backlash on the pinion? if yo do not find anything please ask your mechanic to do the tests who knows about.

Hi!
Excellent description of your problem, I wish more were as articulate.
I thought at first it could be a glowplug fault but if you are experiencing problems when warm and noise from crank then it possibly is related to fuel.
You are either getting too much or not enough? have you replaced your fuel filter recently? also I hope inadvertently a mix of Petrol/gasoline hasn't taken place? finally your injectors seem to me to be the root of the problem.
O'k if it were me I would change fuel filter, also during this process I would purchase a fuel system cleaner, not one you mix in the tank but one where you fill the fuel filter.
Try it if a slight improvement you may need to do it again, if sorted use a fuel conditioner/cleaner in the tank regularly to maintain fuel efficiency.
I hope the information supplied FREE! sorts your problem? press the blue button please to rate my Efforts.
Thank You!
Paul 'W' U.K.
