SOURCE: 97 jimmy, windows, ac, sunroof won't work and abs light on

Yes I found a temp /permanent solution. All fuses were ok. What is happening is that the (HOT) positive side of the battery is not being supplied to the fuse box. If you take out the relay / 30amp fuse for the power windows and if you dare put a positive feed to the contacts where the fuse inserts, the windows and fan will work. I just connected a hot to the wire that feeds that fuse. The problem with whet I did was that the windows and fan work when there is no key in the car. So for a permanent fix you need to find a switched positive lead and connect it. My solution is ok because it is still fused. Hope this helps.

This is what happens when the ABS module shorts out. The unit can be rebuilt thru If you remove the unit you can still drive the truck, Just wont have ABS like you dont have now. You could get it diagnosed to be sure. The site will tell you how to remove and ship it.

Dashboard and side lights not working on my 2010 Toyota hilux, can you advice

Dashboard and side lights both run through a fuse, usually the same fuse, so this is your first point of checking. Go through all the fuses, make sure you check the fuse box in the engine compartment as well as the one inside the car.

Bleeding brakes

wheel bearings are wore out so abs isnt working. change them and the abs light and spedo will be fixed. peddle is low because the fluid goes through the not working abs box.

Hi I have a 1995 Cutlass Ciera. I have several problems with this car. 1. Sometimes the car will not start, meaning when I turn the key in the ignition, the car will not start until after maybe 10-15...

Here are some possible causes:

1. issue on hard starting:
Does this only happen when your engine is cold? if so, just replace the carbons in your starter. If this happens even if the engine is already hot, have some mechanic check your distributor timing. Timing for older cars are usually 'advanced' for performance reasons, effect of this is hard starting.

2. A/C problem:
does your fan/blower still works? if yes, then have an aircon techinician check your freon level. there might be some rusts/small holes in your aircon system that causes the freon to escape.

3. ABS light:
is there a difference in engine performance compared to the time that this light is not ON? if no, then there must be some grounded connection in the ABS light.

4. Power window problems:
this quite common for older cars due to wear and tear. "first aid" for this one is to spray lubricants (like WD40) to the window motor that can be found inside your car door.

hope this helps.
