FRT END SHAKES AT ALL SPEEDS

If steering wheel shakes bad tire on front. If whole car shakes bad tire on rear. Or tires could be out of balance. If steering wheel shakes when brakes applied, front rotors are warped.

My 2002 Toyota Avalon is shaking when I apply the brakes. I have replaced the front and rear brake pads and the front rotors with Raybestos ones. It still shakes. Could the rear rotors be warped?

That's what I would imagine. It is usually the front rotors that warp due to the fact that they work a little harder than the rears. However, rear rotors can warp. If you feel the shake more in the body of the car, so in the seat and you feel like the whole car is moving and the steering wheel stays mostly calm then I would imagine the rear rotors are warped. However if the shaking is felt mostly in the brake pedal and the steering wheel shakes too then it is probably your front rotors. Shops can usually resurface rotors and it may be cheaper than buying new, so that could be an option for you.

When i am driving, there is a vibrating/rumbling sound. it slows down when i do, and speeds up when i do. what could that be? tires?

In my opinion Check your car while stationary. Press gas pedal and try to hear. If this sound comes from engine, then check engine. If it comes while driving then one of your wheel bearing needs to be changed. Which side? It depends where the noise comes from.

At 40 mph the car starts to shake. It last to 5o

I have this same car with exactly the same problem. Begins shaking at 40mph and stops shaking as soon as you let off the gas, but then begins again as soon as you press on the gas and smooths out as you get over 50. And the shaking is not felt through the steering wheel. Solution: Replace the transmission mounts. There are two of them, one on each side mounted on the frame right next to the shock strut. There is also a front and rear engine mount, but I replaced the two as described and shaking is gone.
