Question about 1998 Buick Park Avenue

1 Answer

Once the car is started and put in drive within a quarter of a mile it will not accelerate. It seems like it was put in neutral and will not accelerate. I am basically red-lining the R.P.M., but will not go faster. what is the problem?

most likely it is not actually a misfire it is the overdrive/TCC solenoid kicking on and off, it is a common GM transmission issue

Ask your local technician to set up a fuel gauge pressure monitor so you can track it while your driving. Ask him what the normal range is so you will know when it falls below. Document it and let your Tech know. It sounds like your fuel pump is loosing Pressure.
