91 Geo Trackerauto 4x4 3spd.It wasnt shifting into 2 until it had warmed up.A thread said try AT-205 tried ran perfect for one week. blew front seal. is the whole tranny bad or just the vacuum module

yes those chem, melt seals. and do that.
the front seal has nothing to do with the rear vacuum
modulators, that love to leak, outs to the hose, and make engine smoke or leak to inside (unseen) and upset shifting .
the transmission needs service
the correct name for it is the 3L30. (old TH180 that started back in
1969-1975 Opel Olympia / Kadet)
the 3L30 has a special rear flange for 4wd. and special rear shaft.
any major transhop can in fact overhaul any TH180 based transmission.
is the full list of cars with this trans (based)
here (even my USPs mail man has one)

What would cause a 2007 Subaru transmission failure

Plugged, easily replaceable filter on the side of the transmission or the differential leaked at the axle seal and blew. These are the most common reasons for Subaru transmission failures.

I have a 97 Silverado k1500 with a 4l60e transmission and im leaking quite a bit of fluid out of the hole right under the torque converter and fly wheel. It first happened on the freeway about 200 miles...

Converter is slinging the fluid out as you are running down the highway. If you replaced the front seal on the transmission and checked for a leak elsewere and found none. then it has to be the converter doing the damage. Hope this will help you.

Is a E4od Transmission(Ford) the same that is in my motorhome and in my f350 pickup truck,, 4 speed with OD? i have 1 1994 fleetwood bounder with a 460 ford and an e40d thansmission in it,, as well as my...

it might have just run low on fluid while driving, the front seal may not have been installed correctly,or the cooler lines or cooler might be plugged causing the trans to overheat which will cause it to leak a steady stream...for example,my 94 bronco with a e40d acted like that too when i worked it really hard pulling stumps out in the summer last year,it leaked out really bad until it cooled down,i put 20,000 miles on it since and it doesnt leak not even a drop.so mine was just overheated really bad.As for if it is the same between vehicles it is only if both trucks are a big block, and if both are 2wd.
