Question about 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood
Recently had fuel pump replaced and now the fuel gauge always register full
Try filling half full then reverse pretty fast then slam on the brakes or drive forwards and slam in breaks may push the plunger to correct position if not then have the mechanic pull back out and fix the gauge arm"looks like a bent coat hanger with a plastic piece on the end"

Hello: This could be the fuel level sensor is not connected or the sensor assembly was damaged or bent when assembly was reinstalled or the fuel pump was not installed on the sending unit correctly.

The fuel pump sending unit is most likely defective or out of calibration. It could of got bent or damaged when the pump was replaced & may need to be adjusted. Hope this helps.
