SOURCE: how to remove auger heston 500

I would go to a farm equipment dealer and repair shop, and ask the mechanics there. Or google it, you may find something under Hesston, or farm equipment repair. With only about 1% of the population now involved in farming, I don't think a general site like ours has very many farm equipment knowledgeable guys. I would not be surprised, however, that you may find a site devoted to farm equipment repair.

Auger belt on snowblower keeps breaking after about an hour of use, please help.

Try removing the drive belt and turning the auger by hand . If there is no problem it will turn freely by hand but if it feels tight check the auger tube for bends or dents that will restrict the free movement of the shaft. The next thing to check is the pulleys If they are "V" belts then check that you have the correct belt or the correct pulleys for the belt. A "V" belt is fitted correctly when the top most width of the belt is about 1/16 " above the rim of the pulleys . IN other words it just sticks out of the pulley. The pulley sides have to be smooth and not stepped as this creates different running speeds for different sections of the belt and that generates heat. Imagine a duel tyre wheel where one tyre is 2" larger than the other but both are running on the road . As there are different circumferences there fore different distances covered in one revolution Then one tyre is being dragged along. The same applies if the pulleys have steps in the sides from wear.. If it turns freely but feels lumpy then you will need to replace the bearings . Check inside the auger tube as there may be some thing like rope /cloth or wire jammed and acting like a brake.

How do I bleed the brakes?

well u might need to open the brake oil tank first place a cloth or some sheet over it so nothing gets in like water or dust. the turn by turn open the wheels and on th top of the brake cilpe there will me a valve with a 8mm or 10 mm bolt losen it a bit and let fluid flow through it.if u dont see fluid comming out then u need to pressure bleed it.for tht u will need a friends help. start the car and ask ur friend to depress ur braks paddle and while the paddle is depressed open and close the valve. do not keep the valve open when the paddle is realsed, be sure to close the valve tight before he releases the paddle do soo three or four time per wheel..

Having trouble with the brakes on my '90 Ford ranger. Replaced the master cylinder and still have very little braking power. Any help would be appreciated!

***Seek out professional help this vehicle is not safe to operate.***

Check the vacuum line going to the brake booster.

This is the big round chamber behind the master cylinder.

Hope this tip helps.

My brake pedal goes hard when braking on my santa fe

Step on brake paddle with engine off, then with foot on brake paddle start engine, brake paddle should go down a few inches, also check for vacum at power brake booster under hood ( sit in back of master cylindre ) if you have vacum there and brake paddle did not go dnow a few inches, replace brake booster.
