SOURCE: front blower short power to ground causing 12+

have you replaced the blower motor resistor yet,it is a printed circuit that has a floating ground.it is where the blower motor wires plug in to.if you unhook the motor wires and use your ground and hot wire on the motor it should test normal,

'94 Silverado heat/ac fan not blowing. Hear clicking when selecting l,m, and high but not blowing

94 CHEVY Silverado ????,heat/ac fan not blowing. K1500?????? Hear clicking when selecting l'm, SET high but not blowing! WITH AIR OR NO A/C? FIRST IS FUSES, MAKE SURE THE BLOWER FUSE IS NOT BLOWN.
EASY NO? CHECK ALL FUSES FIRST. ON ALL ELECTRICS FAILING OF ANY KIND.
BAD FUSE, BAD WIRINIG , BAD CONNECTIONS. OR EVEN BAD RELAYS TO THE BLOWER OR BAD SWITCH BLOW.
THE OLD CARS , HAD A SPEED BLOW , RESISTOR BLOCK
THAT FAILS ON ALL SPEEDS BUT HIGH, SO ITS NOT THAT.
OWN A VOLT METER????
HERE IT IS, ANY OF THIS CAN FAIL THIS OLD
WE USES A VOLTMETER TO FIND THE POINT OF FAILURE.
A SHORTED BLOWER MOTOR CAN BLOW LEFT SIDE TOP
FUSABLE LINK.RIGHT FUSE BLOWN MAKES THE CONTROLLER DEAD.

HEATER NOT WORKING

The complete removal is shown in this youtube video.

So you're getting heat but no blower to circulate the heat, right? It's also possible the fuze is blown to the blower motor, the switch that adjusts the speed of the motor could be damaged, or its resistors that limit voltage, to control speed could be "open" (burned up). I would check many of those before replacing the fan..

The heat is controlled by a valve that allows water to circulate through the heater core. If the fan is blowing cold air, check the valve, or blow water back and forth through the heater core to clean it out.

Hi , I have a 2009 Ford E250 van and all of a sudden the switch that controls the blower motor doesnt activate the blower. I have heat if the vehicle is moving , but its not blowing heat from the vent

There is a fuse, may not be solely for the blower but it has to be fuseed! Anyway I would suggest checking all fuse's both inside and outside boxes first then locate blower relay swoop with the one next to it and test blower if its stil not working its the fan speed switch! They gave trouble on previous models! ! You'd be very unlucky for a 2009 fan motor to fail...good luck.

I have a 91 toyota cressida the heat only blows hot when car is in motion what could be my problem please help its cold

Your blower motor may not be functioning. When you turn the interior fan on with the car at a standstill, then does it work?
Test for power to the unit. If power is present, then replace the blower motor.
If power is not present, then check the blower motor control switch (fan switch).

FAN BLOWER (FOR A/C AND HEAT) ONLY BLOWS ON THE HIGHEST SETTING. IS THERE A FAN SPEED CONTROL OR RELAY THAT CAN BE REPLACED, OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE?

Hello leebarker
The blower moter switch or the blower moter controler can cause this
problem. Remove the plug from the switch, use a 12v test light to locate
the 12v power wire in the plug. Next with a small jumper wire bring power from the 12v contact to the low and medium speed contacts on
the plug if the blower changes speed replace the switch if it still only
has high replace the controler. The blower controler is located on the
passenger side end of the heat-a/c box near the blower moter.
By the way the key must be in the on position for this test.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

A/c heater won't blow... Blower works even replaced with new blower but still won't blow... Is there a relay to replace? The fuse for a/c is good

did you check to see if the a/c belt is still on the a/c puller ? if so then try a flush of all hoses.

No air or heat blowing from vents

if the fan is blowing this could be a problem with the climate controll switch that changes the direction of air from floor to defrost to vents, some are vacuum controlled through a vacuum operated mechanism that opens and closes a door in the vents which redirects the air to different places.
