My friend, raw gas - fuel vapors. Do you know that one gallon of gas will push a 4,000# block of steel about 20 miles?
Please have your Kia dealer investigate and repair this discrepancy for you.

start by removing and replacing your gas cap
also unhook the battery for a few minutes to reset the computer.
If this does not work there may be a vacuum leak in one of the hoses going,coming from

SOURCE: hard to start then when
the problem is in your gas there is too much pressure you must change the pressure sensor in your gas tank. I think it will cost you like $200 just for the part.
