Question about 2002 GMC Sierra 1500
I had a 2001 Audi A6 which almost caused me to lose my mind over this. In that case the console switch often quit, easy fix, if that was it, which it was not. The fact that you have some movement indicates power is getting to the mirror, so SOMETHING is working! I ended up replacing the motor, not cheap, but pretty easy. So again put your volt meter on the external connector (inside the mirror) and see what you get. Check the switch (inside the passenger compartment)with a volt meter, or even an ohm meter will indicate if a connection is being made for each position.
Oh and I'll remember you in my prayers,LOL
