Question about 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 1998 grand cherokee laredo limited 5.9 with the tow package from the factory. Problem is that the round female adapter for the trailer has no power.
or the kit was not fully installed or someone pulled relays in the kit.
alldata.com has the wiring paths , for sure.
if not stock , anything is POSSIBLE.

The camshaft position sensor is located inside the distributor. It is a hall effect swich, simply remove the distributor cap and the rotor and you can lift it out, unplug and replace.
Have fun but beware a bad crankshaft position sensor can cause a false cam sensor code to be set sometimes.
