SOURCE: i need the location of a neutral safety switch on

I take it that you have an automatic transmission the shift selector /neutral saftey switch switch is located on top of the transmission were the shift cable connects to the trans. Remove the 13 mm nut in the center of the switch and remover the shift cable and lever noting the location of the lever. then remove the bolts holsing the switch to the transmission and the elec connector.

SOURCE: need to find location of neutral safety switch on

find where the shift linkage connects to the transmission. The PRNDL (or nuetral safety switch) is the part right below the shift cable that the transmission shift shaft runs through. It should have a connector with half a dozen wires in it.

HOW DO I LOCATE AND REPLACE A PNP NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH ON A 2001 BUICK CENTURY

On top of the transmission, has a triangle shape. Backup light switch is incorporated into it. Has to be adjusted to Neutral position with transmission in Neutral to get it right. Be careful to chock the tires so the car cannot roll and use the hand brake for added safety.

LOCATE AND REPLACE PNP ON A 2001 BUICK CENTURY

If you're talking about the Park Neutral Safety Switch, it's on the linkage right up against the transmission, driver side under the hood. If you're not talking about the Neutal Safety Switch, then spell out exactly what you want and do not abbreviate.

Where is the neutral safety switch on a 1997 Buick LeSabre Limited

It is part of the range selector switch on the transmission.
Get a wiring diagram if the trans wiring and it is very to follow to determine if it is working or not

Replace neutral safty swich

The neutral safety switch only prevents the driver from cranking the engine in gear, and it turns on the backup lights when you are in reverse.
If you are having a problem with the performance of the transmission I doubt it has anything to do with that switch.

Where is the neutral saftey switch located

For 2003 Buick Century 3.1L SFI OHV 6cyl NSS (Neutral Safet Switch) it will be mounted on the transmission shifting stud and lever, where the cables connect to the rod that runs down into the transmission (is a black box with a plug on the side).

Hope helps.
