Where is the Map Sensor Locate on a 2008 Dodge Caliber SXT 2.0 Liter Engine.

I would check for an vacuum leak first, vacuum leak depending on what line its on can raise the rpm. you don't want to go a round just changing parts, also if the mp sensor has gone you would have engine lite fault on the dash. vacume line you dont. even a gasket leak you dont.

2002 dodge ram 4.7 rough idle and sometimes dies at red lights or stopped in traffic i cleaned throttle body no change could it be my map sensor going bad? Can i clean it? Where is it located

Check for any vacuum leaks from loose/disconnected/swollen hoses under the hood. Is the check engine light on? If so, scan the codes to see if any sensors may be suspect before guessing

2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 Engine. Starts fine, Idles fine, but when engine shifts into high gear and RPM lowers engine runs really rough under load

Have you checked for a broken valve spring. Repaired a dodge engine with the same running issue as you have described and it was a broken intake valve spring.

I have a 98 ram with the 5.2 eng. it will run rough most on cold start or after it has sat for about 1/2 hour. if you hit the gas a few times it will clear up.it has low vacuum when this happens. full tune...

Is it running hot? (burning coolant caused by internal engine damage) (Any white clouds of exhaust) check the cooling system level & the coolant sensor readings. Have emissions checked & ECM scanned for codes

Check/clean the MAP sensor and throttle position sensor. This should fix the issue. Its a common problem with Chrysler products.

2004 Ram 1500 1/2 ton 2WD. Code P0068 is what is coming up. Truck will idle high/low at times and will die sometimes when I stop. Engine light is on, I have checked for vac leaks and cleaned the sensor...

It's a map/tps sensor correlation code, essentially it means the map sensor reading isn't what's expected with the tps reading and vice versa! It sounds like your tps sensor is probably bad or the circuit to one of those 2 sensors.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

1997 DODGE RAM 1500 360 VERY LOW IDLE

I think you have ruled out the engine with all the parts you have replace. The transmission torque convertor is in lock up mode all the time. The engine is having to hard of a time to stay at the normal idle. The over drive clutches and soleniod are most likely damaged in the transmission.
I think you should take the vehicle to a trasnmission shop , The can check the torque convetror soleniods and pressure control soleniod.

The oil light coming on bothers me. I know you have the rebuilt engine in the vehicle but I think the oil pump in the engine is starting to go out or could be weak. The lower bearings connected to the crank shaft might be starting to leak. Have the oil pressure checked .
