I have had that myself if you pull out the cup holder just ahead of the shifter you will find the cables at the shifer I think you will find that one is popped off if it is the one under the shifter you need to get a part from a company called dorman
is it the stock cd player if not then it may be because there are tabs in for display puposes so ppl cant put eny cds in them and play it while in store go to a futur shop or eny stereo store if it is stock it may be a defect or a pin let go inside or your eject system is shorting somewere inside
if its a 5 speed, yes the shifting is loser than normal cars. the reverse is all jacked up.. if its anything like my 06 aveo when you shift into reverse you have to lift the little circle thing on your shifter up ad act like your putting it into first.. If it grinds try doing it slower. I HATE this transmission. Chevy did a horrible job on picking it. I always grind reverse no matter what
if it only has problems going into 1 gear, it's most likely the synchro for that gear inside the transmission. but if this appeared out of thin air immediately after the hydraulic change, then i would definitely try re-bleeding the system first
