You have an heated Oxygen sensor. 2 of the wires heat up the sensor and keep it at a certain temperature, it is turned on and off by the computer. The other 2 are use to send a very low voltage reading back to the computer to tell the computer if the engine is running rich or lean. I don't have a diagram to tell you which wire does what but you can get a manual and that should give you the information that you need and tell you how to trouble shoot it to tell if the sensor is bad or not, you may want to look for a wire laying on the exhaust, I have found wires burnt and lay on the metal.

Either replace the O2 sensors, or put a black piece of electrical tape over the check engine light.

SOURCE: oxygen sensor where is it 2001 silverado 1500

On the newer GM products sometimes there are three. Follow along the exhaust pipes on both sides of the engine. There should be a sensor located in at least one of the pipes. if you look at the pipe once it connects to itself before the cat converter there should be another one. The drivers side is listed as bank one and the passenger is bank two for when you scan it you know which one is which.Let me know how this helps you and how it turns out.

All of these p1131 p1151 p0171 p0174 codes indicate a problem with a lean condition. This engine is known for vacuum leaks, so before you start throwing oxygen sensors at the problem, it pays to perform some diagnostics.
Start by cleaning the MAF sensor. Spray the sensor with CRC MAF sensor cleaner. Next, check the plastic vacuum lines, especially where they meet with rubber boots. If they are cracked or the rubber is swollen, replace the line. Then check the rubber elbow that holds the PCV valve. That elbow is a know failure point. In fact, the entire PCV tubing is a trouble spot on these engines. (thanks Ford).
After you've checked for vacuum leaks, check the operation of the oxygen sensors. The easiest way to do that is to disconnect the sensor from the harness. Connect one lead of your digital voltmeter to the black wire on the sensor and the other lead to battery negative. Then start the engine and add fuel (either propane, starting fluid, or carb cleaner) into the throttle body to force the mixture to rich. You should see a corresponding increase in voltage as you add fuel (from 0 volts to slightly less than 1 volt). Start and stop the fuel enrichment and watch the meter to see if the volts drop as you stop adding fuel. If you see no change, the sensor is dead. Replace it.
You can also use the fuel enrichment procedure to locate intake gasket leaks.

This is the only info that didn't come back directly to FORD (yet still mentions it) instead of GM. Not to sure you got the correct code.

2000 Silverado just started bogging down on acceleration when cold. Fuel, air or spark problem?

This could be a tough one. If the truck runs smooth and just doesn`t have any power I would start by checking the resistance on your air and coolant temperature sensors. If these do not read correctly the computer sends out the wrong info for the fuel injectors and spark timing. This could very well be the problem since you didn`t mention any engine codes which means oxygen sensors are ok and you don`t appear to have any un-metered air entering the engine (vacuum leaks).

2oo0 chevy blazer cel and code p0171 and p0174

Depending on the engine it will have between 4 and 2.

If you had a straight 4 or 6 engine then there would be only 2, one on the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe and then one just after the catalytic converter.

If you have a "V" engine (V8, V6) then you have an oxygen sensor on each exhaust manifold and will have a catalytic converter for each bank of the V. There will also be an oxygen sensor downstream of each converter as well. In this case there would be 4 oxygen sensors.

The air mixture screw does not make my mixture richer or leaner

Unless your vehicle is really old and has a carburetor there shouldn't be an air mixture screw. Air and fuel mixture ratios on engines with Electronic Fuel Injection or EFI are controlled by the vehicle computer witch receives and sends information to and from a slew of different sensors like the oxygen sensors, throttle position sensor, the idle air control valve, Etc. Chances are you have EFI on your vehicle. If your engine is running rough or lacks power, try a complete tune up. New spark plugs/wires, new fuel filter, new air filter, oil and filter change, new oxygen sensors. Try running a bottle of injector cleaner and a bottle of water remover through the vehicle and see if it helps. Hope this helps.

Truck codes p1132 and p1152

Hi,

P1132 = Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich - Bank No. 1
P1152 = Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich - Bank No. 2

It sounds to me like the oxygen sensors (between the engine and catalytic converters) should be replaced. Good luck!
